So... having received my presents, I immediately went to town and got dirt (the kind recommended) and some starter plants!

That's a dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree in the upper section! I'm hoping that will be an indoor/outdoor tree through the seasons. Citrus doesn't tend to survive the winters up here.
